1928 Shuffle
Instructions:
You start the game with a random hero and a few additional cards. You can click on any visible card to see it larger.
The Game has four phases:
- Enemy
- Draw
- Act
- Attack
During the Enemy Phase, the enemy will play a card if it does not have an active card. Otherwise, it will target a random character for an attack. If one of your cards loses all of its HP (the heart), it and any items equipped will go back into your deck.
During the Draw Phase, if there are still cards in the deck, you will be given one card automatically.
During the Act Phase, you may make three actions. Valid actions are:
- Play a card from your hand (Drag the card from your hand to the available space).
- Draw a card from the deck (Click the deck. If it's empty, it will be slightly transparent)
- End your the phase early (Hover over the Act button and click End Phase)
A character card must occupy an open character space. There are only five of them, and once they are full, you cannot remove a character. The only way a character space becomes open is by a character dying.
During the Attack Phase, you will have the option of attacking with all of your active characters in order. If during any attack, the current enemy dies, the Attack Phase ends. The base Attack skill uses the sum of the character's ATK (red) values (including those of any items equipped), while skills have a set ATK value. Likewise, when being attacked, the DEF (green) value is taken into consideration to mitigate some, or potentially all, the damage.
When you have defeated the final enemy, you win. Congratulations!

YAAAY! I won :) Lots of cool characters on the cards! It’s fun. I think it might be really interesting to play against another person.
Thanks. It was only a sliver of what I wanted it to be due to time constraints. Maybe I’ll enhance the idea into a more fully fledged game.
